KUMI!

JOIN

Kumi is launching its second year of action, bringing together women’s groups from the Western Negev Regional Cluster, the Eastern Galilee Regional Cluster, and Ma’ale Yosef in the Western Galilee. Kumi was born out of a deep belief in the power of every woman to rise and create change. It is an initiative that calls on women to be in motion—a movement of advancement, initiative, and growth—and to take action for personal, community, and social transformation.

חן חדד

“Our lives changed on October 7, and now we must rebuild ourselves from the ground up. Women are the heart and soul of recovery and renewal. Through Kumi, we are creating a space where we can lead and make an impact—just as we have already proven we know how to do—on behalf of our communities.”
Chen Hadad Shohami, Director of the Kumi Initiative, Kibbutz Karmia

Program outline

Throughout the program, participants will take part in lectures by leading experts and opinion leaders from a range of fields, alongside hands-on workshops that provide practical tools for leading community and business initiatives. The program places strong emphasis on building group-based networking and includes regional convenings designed to create broad connections across the entire cluster.

The program focuses on three key aspects:

  1. Establishing social initiatives

  2. Advancing women into key roles and positions of influence

  3. Developing resilience and personal growth for each participant

Kumi's Mettings

The meetings will take place once every two weeks in the afternoon at a central location in the authority; each meeting lasts about 2–3 hours.

Each meeting will be built in a unique way and will include—fascinating panels, professional lectures, practical workshops, hands-on practice, and in short: a program worth getting up for.

Program Topics:

Community Leadership | Personal Branding | Effective Communication | Management Skills | Entrepreneurship | Innovation | Using Artificial Intelligence to Drive Change on the Ground | Partnerships & Collaboration | Understanding the Municipal Landscape | Fundraising | Financial Planning | Crisis Management | Creative Thinking

Is Kumi for me?

If you’ve already launched one or two initiatives in your field—or if you carry the drive and determination to initiate, lead processes, shape the society around you, and continue growing, learning, and stepping into leadership—your place is with us. The program is open to women of all ages and backgrounds and is offered subject to a suitability review and an introductory interview.

The women of KUMI are answering the call of the moment:
Get up, Get moving, Lead and influence.

And what about you? Are you getting up?

Every woman chooses her own way to do this: some work to advance into key roles... launch new initiatives; and some focus the process on personal development and growth.
