Nice to meet you
We’re KUMI
Kumi is a social initiative that calls on women to rise up, take action, and move together—to build a powerful regional women’s network that strengthens local communities and deepens regional solidarity in peripheral areas that have been profoundly affected by the fighting in Israel in recent years.

In collaboration with multiple organizations and local authorities—Supersonas, SheRise, the Western Negev Regional Cluster, the Eastern Galilee Regional Cluster, and additional authorities from the Western Galilee—we have built a comprehensive program that strengthens resilience and drives change, with the goal of cultivating a network of influential women rooted in their communities and creating a broad, sustainable regional infrastructure.

Supersonas is a social enterprise working to expand women’s representation in positions of influence and decision-making in Israel—where many of the decisions shaping the country’s economic, social, and public agenda are made. Founded in 2015 by Hanna Rado, a social entrepreneur and owner of the Group19 and 710 business groups, Supersonas leads programs and initiatives, builds communities, and creates powerful connections—supporting women in expanding their influence and breaking through to senior leadership and decision-making roles.

SheRise is an innovative Israeli initiative founded by Kylie Eisman Lifschitz in response to the stark gender gap in philanthropy and the chronic lack of funding dedicated to advancing women and girls in Israel—an area that receives less than 1% of philanthropic investment. The initiative began operating in southern Israel following the events of October 7, which exposed urgent needs on the ground and the absence of adequate institutional responses. SheRise was launched to cultivate women’s leadership and to advance women-led models of change, resilience, and growth.
The Eastern Galilee Regional Cluster is a regional collaborative body bringing together 18 local authorities across the Eastern Galilee. It works to advance economic, social, and environmental development through regional initiatives and coordinated action between local government, businesses, and communities.

The Western Negev Regional Cluster is a regional collaborative body uniting 11 local authorities in southern Israel, including cities, local councils, and regional councils. It works to advance regional development, drive economic and social initiatives, and strengthen cooperation across the Western Negev region.
